Switzerland,
Valais,
Red wine, with a certain evolution; medium-deep ruby core, slightly lighter towards the rim. Generous nose, spicy floral aromas, quite sweet fruit, it’s ripe but not too ripe, rather sweet red berries. A bit more youthful on the palate than the nose suggested, we still have a fair amount of slightly grainy tannins there. Good level of freshness, succulent red fruit with a mild spiciness. No really obvious oak. Medium weight, slightly more rounded and supple, but it keeps within that medium-bodied frame. It has a good length, not super long but still persistent on the palate, leaving off with some spicy red fruit. Well-made and attractive, could certainly need another one to two years to fully round off the edges.
