Dark garnet core with a purple hue. The nose combines purity, ripeness and spice with ground pepper, garrigue, darker fruit, crushed plum, cassis, leather and pain d'épice, with a slight whiff of oak and toast. The palate is dense and concentrated, muscular with ample dark fruit, ripe extract and tannin, balanced oak, yet forward and generous with good density and a long meaty finish.
