Dark ruby colour with a purple hue. Modern nose, new oak, vanilla, mild spices, coffee bean, fine toastiness and oak, still with bright fruit like plum, cherry and red berries. Good grip, still youthful but no hard edges, dense core of fruit with fine oaky notes, a fresh backbone and a long warm finish. Still needs time but finely done.
