Juan Carlos Sancha – Ad Libitum – 2015

Pale golden and bright. Good purity on the nose, blending ripe pear, apple, melon and citrusy notes with some almondy and nutty notes, feels like a discreet touch, but well integrated oak. The palate is juicy and fresh with good density of fruit, a mineral sensation, some creaminess like fresh butter, bright acidity giving a good lift on the mid palate and finish, good length. Nice and attractive white Rioja in a pure modern style.
