Julien de Savignac – Cuvée Magis – 2009

Medium, deep, ruby with some evolution; the nose is ambitious with some new oak, smoke, dark berries, blackcurrant and dark plum; rich and dense palate; still slightly youthful and restrained with marked tannin and present oak, rather good length and plenty of fruit - should be allowed to benefit from another 1-2 years in the cellar.
