Argentina,
Mendoza,
Medium towards intense colour here, but nothing blue-purple rather ruby-red core. Very intense nose here, quite modern and push style with the roasted oak, dark ripe fruit and some pepperiness. Palate is quite full, and offers a lot of fruit with underlined roasted notes and woody notes, so the roast feels pretty present on the taste. It is rather on the dark fruity side showing off plum, blackberry, spices. Generous fruit however the tannins still are quiet present on the mid palate, on the finish, giving a slightly dry sensation. But it is obviously a wine with a lot of stuffing and density so it should go on and it should soften with age and gain more complexity. This one I would like to put back in my cellar for a short while.
