Intense dark purple colour. Pure nose of ripe dark fruit like plum and blackberry with clove, pepper and fine oak. The palate has nice layers with good grip and spiciness, ripe but present tannin, medium to full bodied with fresh dark fruit and modest oak, nice freshness and a very long nuanced finish. Good stuff.
