Turkey,
South Eastern Turkey,
Medium to deep colour intensity here, still fairly youthful with a lot of blue and purple in there, quite bright. Pure nose. With a slight hint of new oak. A touch of vanilla, a gentle hint of smoke, and quite ripe fruit here, with dark berries, mostly blackberry, some floral notes such as violet, a hint of white pepper. Nice palate. Good bite there. I like those floral touches. And the dark berry fruit, such as blueberry, blackberry. Still a bit youthful with pronounced tannin. I like the freshness and I like the juiciness of that dark fruit. Quite long and persistence. So a fine result overall. It just needs some more time in my mind to shed the tannin. For another one to two years in the cellar and it should certainly have the potential to go on for another up to ten years.
