Medium to deep ruby core and a lighter rim. Intense nose, fair amount of complexity, wild berries, smoke, truffle and spice. The palate has good density of fruit, rather supple texture, balanced freshness, a complex smoky/spiciness, elegant raspberry fruit and a long, smooth finish. Very promising.
