Krutzler – Blaufrankisch – 2014

Medium to deep ruby colour with a purple hue. Fine and fragrant with a layered spiciness, good oak, tobacco, pepper, blackberry and plum notes. Great grip on the palate, high concentration without heaviness, a nuanced spiciness with juicy dark fruit kirsch and cassis notes, fine oak, and a long and dense finish. Rounded texture with polished tannin and an approaching complexity, great stuff!
