Very dark inky core. The nose is rich and opulent with smoke, licorice, blackberry and spices. Plenty of volume on the palate, dark spicy fruit, a rigid backbone of tannin, intense and lingering finish, nice and potent, needs two more years in the cellar to shed the tannin.
