Young purple hue, rather dense with a ripe nose of fig, dates and cassis. The palate is very dense, almost massive still a youthful texture with very high tannin, ripe dark fruit, spicy liquorice notes, notes of Crème de cassis and a very long finish. A potent and muscular wine indeed, still young and a bit unfinished, needing some more time to soften but certainly has the weight and density for long ageing.
