La Perla – Quattro Soli – 2011

Medium deep ruby colour with an orange hue. Sweet mature and intense nose, a layered spiciness of clove, ginger and pepper with jammed red berries, Kirsch and fine tobacco. The palate has a dense structure, yet finely rounded with some discreet oak and vanilla notes, grainy tannin, fine spices, damp tobacco, and a very long lingering finish. Complex, mature and harmonious.
