La Raia – Pisé – 2012

White wine, very youthful, it’s a still wine but I think there’s a hint of carbonic gas in there; it’s a medium-deep straw colour with a tinge of green. Fresh nose, quite intense, aromatic style without oak; there’snotes of fresh butter, lemon zest, almond. Vibrant and fresh palate, with those lemony notes coming back. A rather light style, lightweight but youthful and fresh, with an intense citrusy acidity, medium-long finish. It still appears rather youthful and I suppose this is a style of wine that should be consumed rather young for its vivacity and generosity of fruit.
