Medium towards deep colour with a purple core and lighter rim. The nose is generous with sweet aromas of wild berries, dried herbs, fine oak and tobacco. Rather dense palate still a youthful texture with dense tannin, nice layers of sweet plum, red berries and herbal spices and a warm, long and lingering finish, still a bit tight and tannic, a wine still needing some time to develop and soften.
