Italy,
Tuscany,
Red wine with a medium towards deep ruby colour, still rather on the youthful side. It starts out quite discreetly, I get some floral hints here, with some notes of almond and red cherry fruit. The palate is quite classic in terms of medium-bodied structure, with high acidity. Tannins are in check, they’re well integrated. Still quite youthful, with primary fruit and a medium-long finish. The oak is not really dominating in any way, so it’s more of a fruit-driven example. Still a bit closed; it should definitely gain more from a few years of aging, just one to two years to open it up. Quite balanced in a traditional style I would say, with sour red cherry fruit, fresh acidity, and discreet oak.
