Lapostolle – Clos Apalta – 2021

Inky dark colour and a very dark fruity aromatic palette blending crème de cassis, plum and black cherry with floral lavender and aromatic herbs, bay leaf, sage and tobacco with a slight whiff of toast and oak-derived spiciness. The palate is dense, ripe and concentrated lifted by fine tannin and a vivid acidity, still youthful but good cornerstones for development, dense and long finish.
