Dark purple core with a lighter rim. The nose is ripe and sweet with dried fruit notes, prune, cherry and liquorice. Rather ample palate combining both ripeness and freshness, still youthful texture with grippy tannin and a good length. A youthful example deserving a few more years on bottle.
