Medium deep ruby core with a tawny mature hue. The nose is mature with notes of leather, dried fruit, dried tomato, tobacco and crushed walnut, some oxidation. Slightly more vital palate than the nose with a dense structure and concentration, still with present tannin, fresh red fruit, cassis and red currant with leather wood and tobacco on the finish, persistent and lingering aftertaste. Ready to drink, palate better than the nose that showed some oxidation.
