France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Medium deep colour, ruby-red, still with youthful hint of blue-purple at the core. Fresh nose, rather on the primary fruity side. There is a slight hint of leather and pepperiness, but no evident oak. Nice palate with, I would say, medium weight. It offers ripe fruit but still with a lot of freshness. Really good degree of acidity. Finely integrated tannins I would say. Fresh berries, like plum, raspberry, some red currant and a slight hint of spiciness. There are some aromatic herbs like garni, bouquet garni like wild herbs. In terms of texture well-rounded, nothing hard or angular what so ever. So plenty of juice, plenty of fruit, with a fairly long finish. Good drinkability.
