Le Siepi di San Giovanni – Il Carieti – 2015

Dense dark ruby red core and a mature rim. Sweet nose of ripe fruit like red berries, cherry, new oak and butterscotch with floral hints. Ample and full palate, still rather youthful texture with plenty of grainy tannin, yet digest fruit and well-kept freshness, a sweet spiciness and a quite long finish. Could still improve or deserves a thorough decanting.
