Leclerc Briant – Rubis de Noirs – 2004

Champagne
MEDAILLE-TASTED-86-2024
France,
Champagne,
Light red, rather than rosé colour, red fruity with notes of raspberry, cider and Muscat notes, the palate is very assertive, rather pleasant perhaps but not very champagne-like, rather like a cider with a red wine structure. Tannin, red fruit, cherry notes and a rather long, slightly tannic finish. Interesting.
