Lejeune Dirvang – Robert Lejeune – 2011

Champagne
MEDAILLE-TASTED-88-2024
France,
Champagne,
Pale golden colour with a green hue and young mousseux. Aromatic and ripe nose, almost Riesling-like with mango, peach and grapefruit plus some buttery brioche notes. The palate shows a hint of oak that was less evident on the nose, rather full structure with ample stone fruit, a mild creaminess, and a dense and long finish. Ambitious still needing some time for the oak to integrate.
