Austria,
Burgenland,
Very deep golden colour, almost with a hint of amber. Pure and intense nose, it is offering some floral notes. Then we have a slight spiciness such as saffron, almond and honey. It is obviously botrytis affected with an enormously high ripeness. I think it still has a good level of maturity here. Apricot, peach, stone fruit and a lot of cloud berries. Very dense and viscous texture. With a high level of sweetness, balanced by a medium high acidity. Still ends up fresh on the aftertaste. Good length with layers of really ripe and juicy stone fruit. A very Austrian expression or Burgenland expression, I should say. With plenty of generosity and pleasure. A wine that will continue to develop for many years but pretty delicious already.
