Inky dark purple core. Ripe & youthful nose displaying dark berries, crème de cassis, some new oak and vanilla. The palate is dense and weighty with a rather rounded texture, ripe tannin, concentrated fruit, cassis and dark cherry flavours with a long muscular finish. Well-done but could still gain nuance and roundness from further ageing.
