Inky dark core and a purple hue. Youthful and ripe nose displaying, dry spice, clove, pepper, liquorice with ripe dark berries, plum and cassis underlined by gentle oak and butterscotch. The palate is dense and vigorous combining ripe fruit with a vivid freshness, ripe yet youthful tannin, chewy and meaty aftertaste, ambitious and well made still deserving some time in the cellar to open.
