Dark inky core and a slightly lighter rim. Layered nose displaying incense, dried herbs, pepper, sweet plum, wild berries and some oak derived spiciness. The palate shows good grian and density with polished tannin, a gentle butterscotch hint from the oak with layers of savoury and ripe fruit with garrigue and pepper spiciness leading to a long and layered finish.
