Rather deep colour with a youthful purple hue. Modern nose with new oak and toast aromas, ripe plum, darker fruit, pain d’épices. Generous mouth feel, still with an oak presence. Generous fruit, young but rounded tannin and a long vigorous finish. A modern example still needing some time to soften.
