Very dark and inky colour - lush and modern nose of new oak, vanilla, smoke, blackcurrant and blackberry liqueur. Dense and concentrated palate, slightly woody at present, but good fruit and pleasant freshness; still rather young and knit; deserves another year in the cellar.
