Dark ruby red colour. Quite intense and layered nose blending wild herbs with red and dark berries, fine oak, tobacco and some floral hints. The palate is ample and broad, nice ripe fruit underlined by a fresh acidity and a fine tannic backbone, spicy notes of bay leaf, sage and liquorice. Nicely layered and muscular with a long finish.
