France,
Bordeaux,
Red wine with a very youthful appearance here, quite blue-purple core. Pure nose, a bit shy at first, offering quite dark fruity notes, a hint of leather, no evident oak. Dense palate here; we have quite chewy dark fruit with notes of cassis and dark plum. We have youthful acidity as well and quite dense grippy tannins, but it’s made in a quite pure style. No noticeable oak. Good purity of fruit, quite muscular style with a long finish. I think it’s a wine which is very well-balanced in a more classic style; it’s however still youthful, I think this would need at least another two years to open up a little bit. Well-made in a classic style.
