Les Pinedes de Saint Martin – Merci! – 2014

Dense inky colour. The nose is very youthful and intense with roasted new oak, ripe dark fruit, liquorice, leather and spices. The palate is rather massive with high concentration and extraction, rather tannic today, layers of dark fruit like cassis, blackberry and plum, roasted notes and a long fleshy finish. Still rather dominated by oak, but it should truly have potential, put it back in your cellar for another 2-3 years at least.
