Les Terres de Maslauris – 2016

Inky dark purple core. Fragrant nose, pure dark fruit, peppery and spicy with fine leather, tobacco, blackberry and cassis. The palate is dense and weighty, pure and modern dark fruit with a fine underline of new oak, ripe tannin, grainy with cocoa powder and clove notes, and a very long, dense and layered finish. Really good.
