Inky dark purple core. A youthful nose combining new oak, vanilla with floral notes, violet, ripe dark fruit, cherry, plum and dry spices. The palate is still youthful, a bit on the tannic side but no hard edges, some present oak as well but underneath pleasant and pure dark fruit with finely balanced freshness and a long finish. A wine still deserving time in the cellar.
