Still a dense purple core with a lighter rim. Intense nose, balsamic with some volatile notes, violet and dark cherry. The palate is very dense and concentrated with firm tannin, layers of dark fruit, and some leathery and balsamic notes. Dense and long, still youthful and angular but should develop. More rustic and traditional style but yet with character.
