Medium deep pink colour with a slightly mature copper like hue and mild mousseux. The nose displays some maturity, some lactic notes like butter yoghurt, brioche, sweet red berries and nougat. The palate has medium weight, fairly tannic for its style with toasted notes, a rather low dosage it feels, fairly discreet fruit and spicy notes. Reasonably long but a bit dry and austere on the finish with a phenolic presence.
