Lourensford Wine Estate – Limited Release SMV 2014 – 2014

Medium deep ruby red colour. The nose is young but layered with tobacco, spice box, leather, red and dark berries. The palate has a firm grip, full bodied with plenty of tannin and extract, spicy notes of tobacco, tapenade and pepper with finely integrated wood and a very long finish, still young and firm but potent indeed. Digest and discreet Rhône style with an excellent freshness.
