France,
Champagne,
Pale golden colour with a green hue and fine bubbles. The nose is vinous, displaying some oak, crushed nuts, ripe stone fruit and some lees/autolytic notes. The palate is ample with unctuous fruit, yet with a nicely austere backbone, towards Extra Brut it feels, fresh and salivating with well-integrated oak and a serious persistency. Should develop really well but drinks well already.
