Inky dark colour with a lighter rim. Intense nose, some complexity and evolution, fine spiciness with notes of black pepper, clove, leather, tobacco and ripe dark berries. The palate is dense, digest and spicy with lovely dark fruit, some meaty and spicy notes, a hint of smoke and black truffle, dense but ripe tannin adding lift and length, well integrated freshness and a delicious spicy finish.
