Intense dark purple colour. Sweet nose of red and dark fruit, some jammed berries and cherry liqueur. The palate is dense and ripe, sweet fruit, a tannic backbone, slightly extracted today with present oak flavours, a youthful and unresolved example that needs time to soften.
