Lunaria Orsogna – Civitas – 2014
Pecorino Terre di Chieti

Italy,
Abruzzo,
White wine with a light golden nuance. Quite rich and intense nose here. This is displaying almost a hint of sweetness, I pick up some almost tropical notes of yellow fruit, pineapple and honey. Quite ripe in terms of fruit and no sensation of oak. The palate is however bone dry, so classically dry. However, it does have a quite ample texture. It is slightly, I would say, oily, viscous in texture. So nice rounded mouthfeel, with a balanced level of acidity there, adding a nice freshness to that yellow stone fruit. Good length as well. I like this one as it offers that nice mouthful of juicy, yellow fruit. It offers that slightly rounder and broader expression. Still it is classically dry with a nice level of freshness on the finish.
