Dark colour towards purple. Ripe aromas of dark cherry, plum, chocolate, dry spices and mild oak. The palate is generous and ample with fresh yet dark fruit, crushed cherry flavours with aniseed and licorice, finely integrated wood and a grainy tannin leading to a long and vigorous finish.
