Quite dark core and an aged rim. Intense nose with hints of fresh herbs, dry spices, red berries and graphite, the palate is dense and rich with a tannic backbone, high acidity, rather Bordeaux like with red currant, cassis and herbal notes, quite long finish, yet a bit youthful in need of further ageing.
