M & S Ogier d’Ampuis – La Belle Helene – 2009
Côte Rôtie

France,
Rhone Valley,
Very ripe and mineral nose with dark plum, blackberry, blackcurrant and mineral notes, still slightly youthful. Very dense and massive palate, inky and mineral fruit, coats the palate, plenty of extract, tannin and freshness, very appealing texture and an incredibly long finish; perfect oak, still young with great potential ahead.
