Medium deep ruby red colour. Some new oak, smoke and dry spices on the nose with wild berries, cherry and clove. The palate is youthful, still a bit restrained but balanced, with grippy tannin, a slight hint of oak flavours and good length. Young and unresolved deserving another few years in the cellar.
