France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
A youthful appearance here with a purple-blue nuance. Moderate intensity. Fresh nose, primary fruit here. With notes of mostly dark fruit. Quite sweet fruit. Some confected fruit. There is also spicy elements of gingerbread spice. Slightly lactic note of yogurt. Medium weight on the palate. This is a quite, I would say, soft and subtle vinification. More towards the primary fruity side. However, there is a good backbone of really fine tannin. A lot of pepperiness there like freshly ground white pepper with some clove and ginger. So really attractive. Quite youthful, but already well-balanced on the palate. So soft subtle and harmonious in a rounded and fruit forward style. Still with a fairly good length. Rounded finish with that slight touch of that peppery ginger spiciness. An attractive wine to drink fairly young I would say.
