Chile,
Colchagua Valley,
Colour is intense with a quite deep core, more ruby towards the rim, losing a little bit. The nose is indicating a certain evolution. Mainly dark fruity notes, with some dried spices, some pepper, clove, a slight hint of oak, with blackberry, plum and cassis notes. Full-bodied palate. Well balanced. It feels like a wine that is just about starting to integrate. There is a quite high extract but quite rounded in terms of polished tannin. Attractive dark fruit with those plum, blackberry notes. Spicy pepperiness. Well balanced acidity as well. The oak is not really noticeable on the palate. Long, bright finish. A really fine example. It really opens up with air. So I would still call it a young wine that deserves some decantation before serving it. Yeah good.
