Marchesi di Barolo – Cannubi – 2009

Medium deep ruby with a tawny rim. Lovely. Intense perfume of sweet red berries, flower, tobacco, spice and black truffle. Good grip and volume on the palate, rather full and textured with grainy tannin, layers of elegant fruit, fine spices and a fine, long, silky finish, very good persistence. Elegant and promising!
