Marco Bonfante – Albarone – 2018

Piemonte
MEDAILLE-TASTED-92-2024
Italy,
Piedmont,
Dense dark garnet core and lighter hue. Pure and intense nose offering ripe dark cherry, crushed berries, cedar wood, tobacco, mild oak, and an approaching maturity with a light balsamic touch. The palate is ample, combining a richness of cherry and red berries with liquorice, pepper, mild oak and textured, grainy tannin, classic fresh acidity and fairly ripe fruit leads to a long and vivid finish.
