Inky dark purple core. Intense nose with a balsamic spiciness, leather, wild herbs and layers of ripe black fruit. Very dense and ample palate with a youthful texture and rigid tannin, dried fruit notes, prune, cassis and wild herb flavours. It has a high ripeness but sufficient freshness underneath with a long and bold finish. Still a bit tight needing some time to soften but should improve well.
